Theme Finalized - Case Study Coming Soon…

I finally decided on a theme and will stick with it indefinitely, or at least for a couple of years.  During the transition the loading time for my site increased drastically.  I believe the slow down was a result of the “Theme Test Drive” plugin that I installed.  This site appears to be loading fast for me now.  What about you?  Is it loading decent for you?

Things are really picking up for me now.  I have sites less than 2 weeks old receiving 15-25 uniques per day already.  That actually motivates me more then a small commission check here and there, because as traffic builds so will my income.  Over the course of the next week I plan to start a case study (all blogs need case studies right?) where I will be promoting 1 CPA offer.  This offer is in a pretty competitive niche overall, but thanks to very targeted long-tail keywords I do believe I can easily rank #1 for the primary keyword which should lead to people that are actually interested in the offer.   Also, the domain is old, has almost 100 backlinks already and is directly related to the niche so I should not experience any issue with Google’s infamous sandbox.  This is my first experience promoting a CPA offer and I have chosen to stick with what I know (SEO/Organic Traffic) instead of PPC.  I certainly have an interest in learning PPC, but at this time I am more focused on achieving my short term goal of making enough monthly to pay my mortgage.  The deadline for this goal is December 31, 2008 and I am about 10% of the way there.
